My story

DJ Deuce brings experience ranging from radio and television commercials, to dance and step team mixes, to mixing and mastering music, and keeping people on the floor at any party or venue. With seventeen years for professional experience as a Disc Jockey, and seven years as a professional studio engineer, DJ Deuce is a native of Russellville, Ky. Since earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville, DJ Deuce has resided in Louisville, Ky. Since childhood, DJ Deuce’s career aspiration has been sound engineering and being a professional Disc Jockey.

DJ Deuce began his career at the University of Louisville's Red Barn in 1997 and never turned back. DJ Deuce’s energy and up tempo mixes have kept feet on dance floors in clubs, executive venues, house parties, expo rooms, parks, gymnasiums, and wedding receptions in Louisville & and beyond. The DJ Deuce sound expands beyond Kentucky to Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida among many other states. A few of DJ Deuce’s college parties include stops at the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, Indiana State University, Northern Kentucky University, Indiana University Purdue University – Indianapolis, Western Kentucky University, Murray State University, Kentucky State University, and Eastern Kentucky University.

DJ Deuce is the former house DJ for the former City Block "O'Malley's" and has also been the DJ & provided sound engineering services at such concert venues as Kye’s in Jeffersonville, Indiana and at Headliners Music Hall, Louisville Gardens, The Waterfront, Kentucky Center for the Arts, The Galt House, Expo 5, Memorial Auditorium and the Kentucky International Convention Center all in Louisville. From 2008 – 2011 DJ Deuce served as a Panama City Beach Spring Break resident DJ for the College Party Kingz, which would consisted of a weeklong series of day and evening events.

Since 2012 the DJ Deuce App has been the best source of music & mixes, songs of the week, and special requests mixes. Currently the app is accessible via the Google Play Store or the DJ Deuce Podcast via iTunes. Requests and subscriptions are from across the world including Canada, UK, Taiwan, South Africa, Mexico and France.The DJ Deuce App is home of the Red Barn Review, New Music Mix, CLEAN Weekend Rewind mixes, and industry news. The Red Barn Review consists of music from the 80's & 90's and up to 2003, era music played at the University of Louisville. The DJ Deuce App, which features Hip Hop, R&B, Top 40 songs, is accessible on your phones, and tablets, but you can also listen to it online while at work (Dj Deuce Podcast) KYMP Kamp DJs, Hittmenn DJs Midwest holding it down.
